Foodies can give in to the temptation of traditional Sienese dishes, such as ribollita, pappa al pomodoro, pici with Cinta Senese ragù, tripe and delicious desserts such as panforte, ricciarelli and cantuccini. Anyone who enjoys country walks can reach the heart of the city along the Via Francigena, an ancient path passing through the uncontaminated landscapes of the surrounding countryside to reach the heart of the historic centre.
